Tips Sought 1 Year After Death Of Mother Of 4: Bradenton Police

BRADENTON, FL — One year after the fatal shooting of a mother of four, investigators are seeking tips about her death. (Watch home security footage of the shooting below.)

Yolanda Baxcajay-Flores was shot and killed on Nov. 12, 2024, as she pulled into her driveway in the 2100 block of 15th Ave E., Bradenton police said in a news release.

The 43-year-old wasn’t the intended target, police said.

Over the past year, detectives have identified several persons of interest, but more information is needed.

Video footage from the incident shows a car parked near the intersection of 14th Avenue E. and 21st Street E. around 7:30 p.m.

The driver remains in the car, while three people get out and run toward 15th Ave E., the video shows. Within seconds, more than 30 rounds are fired from multiple weapons. The suspects return to the car and leave.

There is an $8,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. This includes $3,000 from Crime
Stoppers and $5,000 from the Gold Star Club of Manatee County.
