U.S. 301 S. Blocked In Bradenton: Sarasota, Bradenton Traffic

On the Road

As of 7:43 a.m., there is a vehicle crash on Bee Ridge Road at Cattlemen Road with no roads blocked, according to the Florida Highway Patrol Live Traffic Crash and Road Condition Report. (Sarasota)

As of 8:05 a.m., there is a vehicle crash at N. River Road and Tamiami Trail S. with no roads blocked, FHP said. (Venice)

As of 7:45 a.m., there is a vehicle crash with injuries at 63rd Avenue E. at U.S. 301. The road is blocked on southbound U.S. 301, FHP said. (Bradenton)

As of 8:04 a.m., there is a vehicle crash at State Road 70 and 9th Street E. There is currently no roadblock, according to FHP. (Bradenton)

Ongoing Construction

Construction in DeSoto County is slowing traffic in Arcadia. The eastbound right lane of State Road 70 is blocked from N. Lee Avenue to N. Manatee Avenue, FHP said. (Arcadia)

A roundabout is under construction at the Shoppes at UTC. It will add an additional eastbound turn lane from Cooper Creek Boulevard onto University Parkway, according to Observer Media Group. It will also replace the traffic light just north of that intersection with a roundabout. During construction, which should end Nov. 4, those leaving the Shoppes at Tourist Center Drive will be unable to make a left turn or cross the roadway. (Sarasota)

In Bradenton, the temperature is currently 77 degrees, according to AccuWeather. The area will see a high of 89 degrees and a low of 77. This afternoon will be humid with a thunderstorm in spots and then mainly clear and humid tonight.
