Vehicle Carrying Crane Tears Down Power Lines: Bradenton Police

BRADENTON, FL — A section of Manatee Avenue is blocked Tuesday afternoon after a vehicle carrying a crane overturned and damaged power lines, the Bradenton Police Department posted to X, formerly Twitter.

The crash backed up traffic on the eastbound lanes of Manatee Avenue near 24th Street E.

Wreckers and Florida Power & Light crews are at the scene.

Lanes will reopen after the crane is moved, police said. Drivers should expect delays in the area.
