Whataburger Coming To Manatee County: Report
The Texas-based burger chain Whataburger hopes to expand south in Florida with a new restaurant in the Bradenton area, a report said.
BRADENTON, FL — Whataburger is planningits expansion into Manatee County, according to a report from the Bradenton Herald.
A franchise owner for the Corpus Christi, Texas-based chain requested a pre-application meeting with Manatee County Development Services at the end of May.
Their proposed new location, if approved by the county, would be developed in the Marketplace at Heritage Harbour shopping center, near State Road 64 and Heritage Harbour Parkway, the Herald said.

There are 45 locations in Sunshine State, according to the Whataburger website. All of them are located across northern Florida, from the Panhandle on the Gulf Coast to Jacksonville and St. Augustine in the northeast corner of the state.
