Zaxby’s To Open First Restaurant In Manatee County During Fall

BRADENTON, FL — Zaxby’s, a fast-casual restaurant serving chicken fingers, wings and salads, will open its first location in Manatee County this fall. Construction is nearly finished at the Bradenton site, 6591 E. State Road 70. The 3,800-square-foot farmhouse-style building will seat 70.

It will be the third Zaxby’s store for franchise licensee Britt Smallwood. “I have grown up around the brand and couldn’t be more excited to open a Zaxby’s in Bradenton. My dad opened his first store 15 years ago, and since the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, I opened my first Zaxby’s six years ago,” said Smallwood. “Bradenton is the ideal location to expand the brand in Florida, and I look forward to establishing long-term partnerships with local organizations.”

“We’re currently seeking a team of more than 40 members from the local Bradenton area,” said Smallwood.

Zaxby’s currently operates in 17 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia.
