$1M Scratch-Off Prize Claimed By Clearwater Woman: FL Lottery
A Clearwater woman claimed a $1 million prize playing the $5,000,000 Crossword Cash scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said.
CLEARWATER, FL — A Clearwater woman claimed a $1 million prize playing the $5,000,000 Crossword Cash scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said.
Krista Hyde, 37, chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $652,665 from the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
Hyde purchased her winning ticket from the Circle K gas station at 2173 North Hercules Ave. in Clearwater. The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The $5,000,000 CROSSWORD CASH scratch-off game, which costs $20 a game, offers more than $239.6 million in cash prizes, including four top prizes of $5 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.9
