A Clearwater man claimed a $1M prize playing the "$1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR" scratch-off game, FL Lottery said.
CLEARWATER, FL — A Pinellas County man claimed a $1 million prize playing the "$1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR" scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said.
Matthew White, 43, of Clearwater chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000 at Florida Lottery’s Tallahassee headquarters.
White bought his winning ticket from the 7-Eleven at 2030 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd. in Clearwater.

The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
The "$1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR," a $50 scratch-off game, features two top prizes of $1 million a year for life and 234 prizes of $1 million. Additionally, this ticket is filled with more than $1.6 billion in cash prizes. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.50.
