5-Foot-Long ‘Slithery Suspect’ Found On Car’s Hood In Clearwater: Police
A more than 5-foot-long boa constrictor was removed from the hood of a car in Clearwater, police said.

CLEARWATER, FL — Officers were called in to handle “a slithery suspect” on Sunday afternoon, Clearwater police shared in a social media post.
A more than 5-foot-long boa constrictor was camped out on the hood of a car in the 1300 block of Franklin Street.
Sgt. Hinkebein and Officer Roy responded with a snake hook and “they were able to bravely wrangle the reptilian rascal,” police said.

The snake, which seemed to be dehydrated, was brought to a local pet store that will find it a home.
