7 Arrested In Clearwater Drug, Prostitution Crackdown

A Tuesday operation conducted by the Clearwater Police Department was meant to curb illegal activity in the city.

CLEARWATER, FL — Seven people face criminal charges after the Clearwater Police Department conducted a Tuesday operation that was meant to target prostitution and drug-related activity in the city.

According to the agency, the “crackdown is done periodically and continually to address complaints from residents and business owners in the affected areas.”

  • Doreen M. Laffey, 49. Charges: soliciting for prostitution, possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Ruth E. King, 36. Charges: soliciting for prostitution
  • Angel Robinson, 34. Charges: soliciting for prostitution
  • Carrie A. Meeks, 33. Charges: soliciting for prostitution
  • Heather Barnes, 25. Charges: soliciting for prostitution, possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Andrea Earll, 35. Charges: soliciting for prostitution, possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Jon M. Liadis, 52. Charges: two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana
