Donate Cold Weather Items to Help the Homeless

The Tampa Bay Veterans Alliance is collecting new cold-weather wear (gloves, mittens, scarves, hats, hoodies, jackets), undergarments and socks, and diapers (all sizes) – to donate to the .

The items will be delivered to the Clearwater homeless shelter at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 25. 

The shelter currently serves 58 children each night, in addition to 27 who have transitioned into the community this past year.

The veterans alliance was developed to provide residents of Tampa Bay area communities a chance to show their appreciation to military members.
