Celebrate libraries during Florida Library Snapshot Day Wednesday (Nov. 2).
The event is to showcase the value of the library and its resources.
Pictures will be taken of what it is like in a typical day of the library and sent to the State Library to show the support of public libraries to the Legislature.

"Budget cuts and a slow economy have hurt all libraries everywhere," the Florida Division of Library and Information Services said on its website. "A snapshot can write volumes for advocacy."
There also is a Veteran's Day event as part of Snapshot Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the , 100 N Osceola Ave.

Veterans can share stories about their time in service while snacking on pastries and coffee in the cafe.
