76-Year-Old Bicyclist Dies Following Crash On Clearwater Road
Police said the cyclist, Indalecio Ramirez-Vargas, 76, was attempting to cross the street outside of the crosswalk when he was struck.
CLEARWATER, FL — A bicyclist has died at Morton Plant Hospital after being struck by a 2019 Dodge Charger headed north on Missouri Avenue Thursday.
Clearwater police and the Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department responded to a crash involving a car and a bicycle just before 4:30 p.m. at Missouri Avenue and Kingsley Street.
Police said the cyclist, Indalecio Ramirez-Vargas, 76, was attempting to cross the street outside of the crosswalk when he was struck.

Police said the driver of the car showed no signs of impairment and cooperated with the investigation.
