Boil Water Notice Issued After Water Main Break
The City of Clearwater is asking some residents to boil their water as a precaution following a Wednesday water main break.

CLEARWATER, FL — Some residents of Clearwater’s Island Estates are being asked to boil their water until further notice following a Wednesday water main break.
According to the city, a 6-inch main broke on Harbor Island in the Island Estates area. While service has been restored to the area, a precautionary boil water notice is in place for about 75 homes. Those homes includes properties from 637 to 900 Harbor Island, the city wrote in an email to media.
“Those who are impacted by the water main break have already been contacted and received a door hanger on their property by crews who went door-to-door,” the email said. “If a resident has not received a door hanger, that property is not affected, and no action is required.”
