Business Shot Up, Cops Need Help Catching Suspect

Clearwater Police need help finding the person responsible for shooting out windows at a local business over the weekend.

CLEARWATER, FL — The Clearwater Police Department is asking for help identifying the person responsible for shooting out the front windows of a local business over the weekend. According to the agency, its officers were notified about the shooting at GFS Private Wealth, 2475 Enterprise Road, Saturday afternoon when a man who lives nearby heard “loud popping sounds.”

When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered quite a mess. Police say six large plate-glass windows had been shot out. The damage is estimated at $4,000.

Surveillance images pulled from the business show a full-size, four-door Dodge pickup in the parking lot “with a lone suspect in the bed of the truck armed with a gun,” an email from police said. The weapon used was possibly a BB gun.
