Ceramics Win Big at 12th Annual SPC Student Art Show
Artist P.A. Kushner wins Best of Show with her ceramic piece "Tipping Point."
P.A. Kushner took top honors at the . More than 100 people crowded the Crossroads Gallery for the reception and awards ceremony Wednesday night. Kushner won $500 for her narrative totem, “Tipping Point.” A western-hat wearing woman sits laughing atop a book, a piece of cheese and a block of wood. She is holding a multi-colored hulahoop in her ceramic hands.
“It’s about transformation and change,” Kushner said about the piece.
