Clearwater Airman is North Dakota Base's 'Warrior of the Week'

Staff Sgt. Curtis Lange of Clearwater was recently featured in a Q&A on the website for Grand Forks Air Force Base, where he's been stationed for five years.

A senior airman from Clearwater was recently featured in a Q&A on the website for Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota, where he works as an air traffic controller.

Staff Sgt. Curtis Lange was the base's "Warrior of the Week" and talked in an Oct. 31 story about his five years of service in Grand Forks, why serving in the Air Force is important to him and where he draws inspiration from.

Lange also talks about never having seen snow before coming to North Dakota, where the high temperatures are about 40 degrees cooler than in Clearwater right now.
