Clearwater Chargers Soccer Club Send 20 Players to College Level
The Clearwater soccer organization has had 500 players go on to play in college since it formed in the 1970s.

The Clearwater Chargers had 20 players sign a national letter of intent to play soccer at the collegiate level, including 12 girls on the U-18 team:
- Lindsey Brown attends Northeast High and will play at Lee University.
- Torey Camporini attends Clearwater Central Catholic and will play at Fairfield University.
- Jennifer Casey attends Shorecrest Preparatory and will play at Brown University.
- Lindsey Cooper attends Clearwater Central Catholic and will play at the University of Florida.
- Emily Divito attends St. Pete Catholic and will play at Wellesley College.
- Bryane Heaberlin attends Berkeley Preparatory and will play at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
- Dana LaRocque attends Venice High School and will play at Jacksonville University.
- Sierra Lelii attends Seminole High and will play at Nova Southeastern University.
- Jennifer Marzi attends Clearwater Central Catholic and will play at Southeastern Louisiana University.
- Linzy Rakestraw attends Plant High and will play at Boston College.
- Taylor Richardson attends Berkeley Preparatory and will play at Vanderbilt University.
- Rebecca Rinkevich attends Plant High and will play at Davidson College.
And eight boys on the U-18 including:
- Wesley Charpie attends Tarpon Springs High and will play at the University of South Florida.
- Kendall Crouse attends George Jenkins High and will play at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
- Tanner Guy attends East Lake High and will play at Methodist University.
- Nikolai Hammer attends Countryside High and will play at Furman University.
- Hunter Maricle attends Countryside High and will play at Virginia Tech.
- Jagger Martinez attends Countryside High and will play at Northwestern University.
- Kevin Pahl attends George Jenkins High and will play at Furman University.
- Alex Politis attends Tampa Preparatory and will play at Rollins College.
More than 500 players have gone on to play college soccer since the club was founded in 1972.
