CLEARWATER, FL — Between fighting crime, Clearwater police stay busy serving the community, whether it's rescuing baby ducks from a storm drain, providing meals for those in need or reading books to school children.

Last week, police added a new skill set to their resumes: babysitting.

A young mother walking with her three children outside Fire Station 47 suddenly suffered a medical crisis and had to be taken to the hospital.
