Clearwater Police Officers to Work Obama's Inauguration
Fifteen members of the Clearwater Police force were chosen to work security at President Barack Obama's inauguration this January in Washington, DC.

Fifteen members of the Clearwater Police force have been chosen to work security during President Barack Obama's inauguration in January, TBO.com reports.
"A lieutenant, four sergeants and 10 officers will be sworn in as special marshals, acting as members of the Presidential Inauguration Task Force," the news site reports.
This is the first time the city was asked to partake in the inauguration, police chief Anthony Holloway said.

“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to get the officers involved in this” Holloway said.
The officers were chosen based on "training, skills, performance, seniority, availability and other issues," a police spokesperson told TBO, and the city will be reimbursed for their salaries as temporary federal employees.

The participating officers, according to TBO:
- Detail commander: Lt. Brian McAuley
- Sergeants: Richard Harris, Wilton Lee, Sean Allaster, Chris Squitieri
- Detectives: Steven Bohling, John Pickart.
- Corporals: Jeffrey DiVincent, Steven Squillante, T.J. Miller.
- Officers: Fontaine Egger, Brain DeWitt, Tom Lulek, Cheryl Wood, Michael Spitaleri.
The presidential inauguration is Jan. 21, 2013, in Washington, D.C.
