Fatal Clearwater Stabbing Under Investigation
A woman was found stabbed inside a home in Clearwater Monday morning.
CLEARWATER, FL — The Clearwater Police Department is investigating a Monday morning stabbing that resulted in a woman's death.
According to the agency, police and fire rescue officials were called to a home in the 1400 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue around 10:25 a.m. Dec. 26. When they arrived, they found the woman suffering from life-threatening injuries. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but died shortly after arrival from her injuries.
Police are releasing no further information at this time, including the woman’s name and age. It is unclear if a suspect has been identified.
