Hoping to spark leads in a cold case, homicide detectives with Clearwater Police will release previously unreleased information regarding the 2008 murder of Jack Lagrand four years to the day he was killed.

Homicide detectives with Clearwater Police will share previously unreleased information in a 2008 murder case Monday afternoon.
Four years to the day of the crime, detectives will release digitally enhanced images and video of the suspect who shot and killed Jack Lagrand, a 51-year-old taxi driver, in what appears to be a robbery, according to police.
The new stills and photos are more clear than previously released images.

Lagrand was found dead from a gun shot wound in his cab in the rear parking lot of a strip mall on 25706 US Highway 19 North the morning of Sept. 17, 2008.
The latest information will be given in a presentation to a group of volunteers and detectives who will hand out flyers in targeted areas relevant to the investigation.

Officials also plan to release a CD that includes the newly enhanced video and still images as well as a copy of the flyer that will be distributed in English and Spanish.
