ICYMI: Cops Crash Adorable 4-Year-Old’s Birthday Party
Clearwater Police added authenticity to a 4-year-old's themed birthday party.
CLEARWATER, FL — Cops crashing a party is generally a sign that the fun is more than over. That wasn’t the case on Sunday when four Clearwater Police officers marched into a celebration in honor of Brody Barnaky.
As it turned out, the honoree is a big fan of police officers and the party was meant to celebrate his 4th birthday. Sgt. Tom Rodgers, Officer Justin Murray, Officer Scott Penna and Officer Tomislav Marjanovic learned about the police-themed party at Countryside Lanes and decided to crash it in a good way.
“They made a surprise visit there, much to the delight of the bright-eyed youngster,” the agency explained in an email to media. The officers even brought the birthday boy a gift: a police flag signed by all four.

Brody and his friends were also invited outside to check out the officers’ cruisers.
“Brody took his turn behind the wheel and got to turn on the siren as well,” the email said. “It was impossible to tell who had the most fun – Brody or the officers who stopped by to visit.”

While only time will tell if Brody will join the force when he gets a little taller and older, the police department said he's clearly "a big fan of the men and women in blue."
