Dolphin Sculptures, Teen Shot and More on Clearwater Patch This Week

We've heard about the 50 themed, six foot tall sculptures for weeks. The pod was unveiled this week at Pier 60 Park. The dolphins will be on display through Sept. 4.
The gun used in an accidental shooting this week was stolen from a vehicle earlier in the week, according to Clearwater Police. Ryan Greenlee, 15, was with friends at a house on the 1300 block of Browning Street playing with the Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun, when it went off. Greenlee is in critical condition.

The store, which had been in downtown Clearwater for more than 15 years, recently moved to a former ABC Liquors store on U.S. 19.
