Drew Street Section Closed After Injury Crash
Clearwater Police say a two-vehicle crash with serious injuries has forced a temporary closing of a section of Drew Street.

CLEARWATER, FL — Motorists traveling in the Clearwater area may want to avoid a section of Drew Street Tuesday afternoon. According to police, the stretch between Betty Lane and Highland Avenue is closed in both directions following an injury crash.
Police say the two-vehicle crash resulted in two people being taken to local hospitals with serious injuries after they were extricated by Clearwater Fire & Rescue personnel.
The crash was reported at 12:24 p.m. Jan. 31. It reportedly occurred at the intersection of Drew Street and Evergreen Avenue. Details related to the crash are not yet available, but police say one of the cars veered out of control after initial impact and slammed into a tree.
