Ducklings Rescued From Storm Drain: Clearwater Police

CLEARWATER, FL — First responders came to the rescue of seven ducklings trapped in a storm drain Monday morning in the 2600 block of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard, the Clearwater Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.

The worried mother paced about as Clearwater Fire & Rescue members opened the grate so officers could help to pull them out.

Once they were removed from the drain, the family was relocated to a safer location, police said.
