Clearwater mayoral candidates and councilmembers-elect will be at the City of Clearwater Candidate Forum.
Because there were no challengers for their seats, Jay Polglaze (seat 3) and Doreen DiPolito (seat 2) automatically won their bid to be on the City Council.
Mayor Frank Hibbard and councilmember John Doran are leaving office because of term limits.
However, voters will choose the next mayor. George Cretekos and Christine Marketos-Cuomo are vying for the city’s top seat.
