Firefighters Control Clearwater Apartment Fire
The fire occurred around 10:18 a.m. Monday at an apartment complex at 311 Arctura Ave. Two people were taken to the hospital for possible smoke inhalation.
Clearwater firefighters were able to get a fire under control within 15 minutes Monday morning at an apartment complex at 311 Arcturas Ave.
While the fire was controlled quickly, one unit is uninhabitable. The Red Cross has been contacted to assist the displaced residents, according to Clearwater Fire and Rescue.
Two people were treated and taken to a local hospital for possible smoke inhalation: a 60-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman, according to officials.

The 60-year-old's apartment, according to a news release, is the uninhabitable apartment, and the woman's is the apartment adjacent to his.
Firefighters responded to the scene around 10:18 a.m. Monday. When they arrived, they said all residents were already outside.
