Home Depot Hiring 1,350 Tampa Bay Area Workers

Tampa Bay area residents looking for work may want to check at their local Home Depot store. The national hardware retailer has announced plans to hire 80,000 workers across the country in time for spring, including an estimated 1,350 positions in the Tampa Bay area.

According to The Home Depot, positions include customer service, sales, freight, receiving, store support and more. Available positions include full-, part-time and seasonal. Pay varies by position. Positions available and the number of open slots may also vary by location.

Residents who wish to check out local openings can do so online via Home Depot’s website. Jobseekers are asked to fill out applications online. A shorter, mobile-optimized application is available on the website to make applying easier. Home Depot officials say it only takes about 15 minutes to fill out its new streamlined application.
