Injury Crash Closes Gulf-To-Bay Lanes
Clearwater Police are asking motorists to avoid a stretch of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard Thursday evening.

CLEARWATER, FL — A Thursday afternoon crash at the intersection of Corona Avenue and Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard resulted in one man being sent to the hospital as a trauma alert. Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
According to Clearwater Police, the crash, involving a bicycle and motorcycle, happened around 5 p.m. Feb. 2. Further details are not yet available, but police have said the bicyclist, an adult male, was hospitalized.
Police say the westbound lanes of Gulf-to-Bay are mostly affected with lanes shut down starting at Arcturas.

“Motorists who use Gulf-to-Bay in that area should use either Druid Road or Drew Street for at least the next hour,” a 5:31 p.m. email from the police department said.
