Longboarders Head Downhill Downtown

Nearly 100 longboarders took to the streets of downtown Clearwater as part of the second annual "Go Longboarding Day" Sunday.

Street surfers bombed hills downtown for hours including setting up a bungee cord around a palm tree and launching riders down Cleveland Street near Osceola Avenue.

The event featured downhill contests and skate gear giveaways.
