Murder-Suicide Under Investigation By Pinellas Sheriff's Office
Pinellas County sheriff's detectives said the deaths of two people Friday in unincorporated Clearwater were the result of a murder-suicide.
CLEARWATER, FL — Pinellas County sheriff's detectives said the deaths of two people Friday in unincorporated Clearwater were the result of a murder-suicide.
Around 2 p.m., deputies responded to 1825 Stancel Drive after a 911 caller reported a man and a woman had been shot. When deputies arrived, they found 41-year-old Erica Viney and 71-year-old Langley Dunsmuir both dead from gunshot wounds.
According to detectives, Viney moved into the home with Dunsmuir and his wife on Jan. 2. Detectives said Viney and Dunsmuir got into a fight Friday over the living arrangements. Detectives believe Dunsmuir shot Viney and then took his own life.

This will be confirmed following an autopsy by the Pinellas County Medical Examiner's Office.
