Outback Bowl Beach Day: Clearwater Releases Details
The City of Clearwater has released details about the upcoming Outback Bowl Beach Day celebration.

CLEARWATER, FL — Whether Florida’s streak of temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s continues or not, Clearwater Beach will be the place to be Dec. 30. That’s the day the annual Outback Bowl Beach Day is set to take place.
The annual event takes place at Hilton Clearwater Beach, 400 Mandalay Ave., next to Pier 60 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. “This pep-rally type event has become a popular tradition leading up to game day,” the city explained in an email to media.
This year’s rally will feature the Florida Gators’ and Iowa Hawkeyes’ marching bands, the teams and their cheerleaders. Activities include live music, skydivers and contests, including tug-of-war.
