Pedestrian Killed On Gulf-To-Bay Boulevard; Vehicle Fled Scene
Clearwater police are seeking information on a hit-and-run driver that left a 50-year-old man dying in the road.
CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian Tuesday night.
At 9:17 p.m., a 50-year-old man was walking across the eastbound lanes of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard just east of Belcher Road when he was struck by a vehicle that left the scene.
Police said the man was found badly injured in the road. He was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital where he died.

Police said there is no information on the vehicle at this time. Officers and detectives are canvassing businesses for video that may have captured the crash.
