CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater police and Clearwater fire & rescue responded to a crash involving a pedestrian shortly after 5 a.m. this morning in the 1400 block of Sunset Point Road. The vehicle left the scene and the pedestrian, a man, died after being taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.
Sunset Point Road was closed between Kings Highway and Highland Avenue for several hours for the investigation.
