CLEARWATER, FL — We all have a guilty pleasure that costs us too much money. Maybe it’s drinking expensive lattes, shopping impulsively or ordering takeout while binge-watching TV.

Whatever it is, it may be eating a hole in your wallet. Queue The Penny Hoarder, a personal finance website bases in Pinellas County, wants to pay someone $5,000 to kick their worst spending habit for 30 days.

To participate, tell The Penny Hoarder one place in your budget you want to cut back spending on. The staff will choose one Penny Hoarding specialist and challenge them to kick the habit for 30 days. If they're successful, they’ll get $5,000.
