While the threat of Tropical Storm Isaac may have cut short the start of some of the Republican National Convention festivities, businesses along Clearwater Beach have rolled out the welcome mats for delegates and others guests in town for the convention.

Four Monkeys Candy Connection is offering special RNC confections. Red, white and blue gummy candy and Grand Old Party elephant cookies have been selling throughout the weekend.

The Hideaway T-shirt shop is offering souvenir tees related to the RNC as well.
