Public Meeting on Proposed Ulmerton Road Economic Development Corridor is Thursday
The centrally located corridor near unincorporated Clearwater could have the potential to become an economic and development engine for Pinellas County.
The state of Florida created the Brownfield program to help local governments with redevelopment projects.
The centrally located four-square-mile area has many industrial and commercial properties, which have great potential for redevelopment, according to a city report.
The first public meeting on the proposed Brownfield Area is June 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the St. Petersburg College EpiCenter campus, 13805 58th St. North, Largo.
