Three Arrested on Burglary, Stolen Firearms Warrants

Two juveniles and one adult were taken into custody at a residence in Clearwater on Saturday.

Pinellas County sheriff's deputies and detectives with the Burglary and Pawn Unit arrested three suspects at a home at 1669 S. Evergreen Dr. in Clearwater Saturday after learning the trio were wanted on a burglary and stolen firearms warrants out of Manatee County.

According to the sheriff's office, after receiving a tip that the suspects were at a home in Clearwater, detectives and deputies responded to the private residence and arrested two juveniles and one adult in connection with the Dec. 12 burglary.

The suspects have been identified as 17-year-old Torey Foster of 8782 94th St. in Seminole, 17-year-old Jacob McClamma of 1669 S. Evergreen Dr. in Clearwater and 18-year-old Codey Harper of 1870 74th Ave. N. in Seminole.

Foster and McClamma were arrested without incident at the home, while Harper attempted to flee and was taken into custody after being tracked and apprehended by the K9 Unit, according to the sheriff's office.

According to the sheriff's report, on Dec. 17 deputies received information that a suspect involved in a residential burglary in Manatee County on Dec. 12 might be at a residence at 1669 S. Evergreen Drive in Clearwater. The deputies had information that firearms had been stolen from the Manatee County residence.

After responding to the home, deputies arrested Foster without incident on an active warrant for armed burglary out of Manatee County. He was also arrested on unrelated charges of dealing in stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.

Detectives from the Burglary and Pawn Unit also responded, and after interviewing the suspect and other witnesses, they received information that led them to several firearms in the home, including seven handguns and a rifle. They also identified two additional suspects.

One of the suspects, McClamma, was arrested in the home for grand theft firearm, while Harper was apprehended by the K9 Unit after fleeing. He was also charged with grand theft firearm.

The investigation is continuing.
