Authorities located Wallace Forrest Cowan, a missing 79-year-old Clearwater man with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
Cowan went missing around 5 p.m. Thursday from his Clearwater apartment, according to the Clearwater Police Department.

Wallace Forrest Cowan was last seen at 5 p.m. Thursday at his apartment at 1221 Drew St., Apt. B5, according to the Clearwater Police Department.
He may be travelling in a silver 2004 Ford Taurus. The license plate, Y3MLX, was run in Madison County, Florida, at 2:42 a.m. Friday, but authorities do not know where the car went from there.
Cowan is 5'8", 164 pounds, bald and wears metal-frame glasses.
He tends to frequent Morton Plant Hospital and a few local restaurants, according to the police.
