Teen Arrested After Speeding 123 MPH On Causeway: Clearwater PD
According to Clearwater police, Jazion Alonso, 18, told officers he had an explanation: he doesn't look at his speedometer while driving.

CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater police jailed a man over the weekend after they said he was caught driving recklessly and putting the lives of other drivers in danger.
Police said Jazion Alonso, 18, was driving 123 mph in a 60 mph zone on the Courtney Campbell Causeway early Saturday morning.
"Weaving in and out of lanes, he nearly caused multiple collisions. Thankfully, no one pulled out in front of his car," Clearwater police said on its Facebook page.

According to the police department, when an officer pulled Alonso over during a traffic stop, he told him that he does not look at his speedometer while driving.
"It might be a good idea to do that in the future, and adhere to the speed limit," the police department responded.

According to FOX 13, Alonso bonded out of jail the same day.
