Teen Charged With Second-Degree Murder, Armed Robbery In Clearwater Carjacking: Police
Jernalen Coleman of Dade City has been charged with second-degree felony murder and armed robbery for his part in the incident.

CLEARWATER, FL - The 18-year-old shot and killed Monday night after he was involved in a carjacking has been identified as Lasupta Singletary of Zephyrhills. His friend, 17-year-old Jernalen Coleman of Dade City, has been charged with second-degree felony murder and armed robbery for his part in the incident.
Singletary and Coleman arranged to meet a Largo woman about a Nissan Rogue for sale. They met Louise Ornduff, 36, and her son outside a Bank of America in Clearwater. Coleman and Singletary were armed and demanded the keys to the Hyundai Veloster. As the two left the scene, Louise Ornduff fired a shot, striking Singletary. Coleman drove the car to Mease Countryside Hospital, where Singletary died.
Guns related to the incident were recovered. The Clearwater Police Department and Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney's Office will review the case for any possible charges against Louise Ornduff.
