Uncle Bob’s Storage Fire Under Investigation

CLEARWATER, FL — An early Tuesday morning blaze at Uncle Bob's Storage in Clearwater remains under investigation.

According to Clearwater Fire & Rescue, a call about the blaze at the 2180 Drew St. business came in around 9:30 a.m. Oct. 4. Fire crews were able to limit the flames to two units, but a few nearby units also suffered smoke damage, the agency noted in an email to media.

While the cause of the fire doesn't appear suspicious, authorities are still investigating.

No injuries were reported.

Further information is not yet available. The fire closed off a portion of Drew Street to traffic Tuesday morning.
