FLORIDA — While no one hit the jackpot in Tuesday’s $893 million Mega Millions drawing, someone who bought a ticket in Florida is $1 million richer.

The ticket was bought at a RaceTrac gas station in Bonita Springs, according to the Miami Herald.

There were also $1 million-winning tickets sold in California, Texas and Virginia, according to a Mega Millions news release.

These four tickets matched all five winning numbers pulled during Tuesday’s drawing — 24, 46, 49, 62 and 66 — but didn’t match the No. 7 Mega Ball that was drawn, winning the game’s second-tier prize of $1 million, Mega Millions officials said.

The optional Megaplier number chosen ahead of the drawing, which would have multiplied the winnings if ticket holders paid for the add-on, was 2X.

There were no jackpot-winning tickets sold in Tuesday’s drawing.

Across the U.S., 41 tickets matched the four white balls plus the Mega Ball to win the third-tier prize. With the Megaplier applied, 11 of those tickets are worth $20,000. The other 30 third-tier winning tickets will take home the standard $10,000 each.

The jackpot has jumped to an estimated $977 million for the next drawing, which takes place Friday at 11 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Ticket sales shut down at 10 p.m. EST.

It’s just the sixth time in the game’s nearly 22-year history that the jackpot has reached this level. Only five jackpots exceeding $1 billion have been higher, according to the game's website.

Tickets are $2 each and players can add the Megaplier for an additional $1. Friday’s drawing will take place at 11 p.m. EST in Atlanta, Georgia.

Since the Mega Millions jackpot was last won on Dec. 8 with two tickets in California, 29 consecutive drawings have produced more than 23.6 million winning tickets across all non-jackpot prize tiers.

These include 37 second-tier prizes of $1 million or more, won in 19 states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia.
