Clay County Habitat Teams up with State Farm to Build Affordable Housing

Clay County Habitat for Humanity has teamed up with State Farm to help build a single-family home located on Hibiscus Avenue, Middleburg, Florida. The residence is a beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 bath single story that will be home to Samantha and her two children. State Farm generous support is paying for the air conditioning system in the home.
“Constructing affordable housing has become more expensive as time goes by” said Carolyn Edwards, Clay County Habitat’s Executive Director. “With skyrocketing costs for services and materials, it is increasing difficult to achieve this goal but, we will continue striving to help deserving families realize the American Dream.”
During Clay Habitat’s 46-year history, the organization has constructed 179 homes throughout Clay County, positively impacting more than 700 members of the community through their homeownership program. Clay County Habitat for Humanity’s goal has been to make a positive impact on the communities they serve.
