Cuban Happy Hour At Eatery

It didn't take long for the Cuban Sandwich at Organic Life Coffee to become a hit.

Now owners at the Lutz eatery are making it possible for more to experience the sandwich. This week they launched the "Cuban Happy Hour" special. Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. customers who buy a Cuban sandwich can get 1/2 off a second Cuban.

"We started doing Cubans and we've had numerous people say we have the best Cuban you can get," said owner Peter Davidson.

The Organic Coffee Tampa Cuban is a bit different than the traditional. The restaurant uses oven turkey, sliced pork and ham. All meat and cheeses are Boar's Head.

The restaurant also uses a special "Life Spice" seasoning on the bread of the sandwich.

Thinking about making the drive from Land O' Lakes, Davidson said the sandwich will be easy for people to order on their lunch break.

"We're going to have it available as a quick in and out sandwich," Davidson said.
