Drug Arrest at Wesley Chapel High School

Teen busted for possession of methamphetamine, the sheriff's office says.

A 16-year-old Wesley Chapel High School student was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

The incident occurred Friday afternoon, April 12, after school officials received information that prompted a search of the student’s backpack. Five capsules of a white crystalline substance were found in the front pocket, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

The student, whose name Patch is not releasing, was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center without incident.
