Ladies Raise Money For Sick Pets
The Lutz-Land O' Lakes Women's Club recently donated $500 to a charitable pet organization named Frankie's Friends.

An area civic organization has raised money to help support those who cannot help themselves.
The General Federation of Women’s Clubs Lutz-Land O’ Lakes Women’s Club recently gave $500 to Frankie’s Friends, a Tampa-based charitable pet organization. Named for a beloved greyhound dog, Frankie’s Friends in part helps pet owners who are unable to afford life-saving veterinary care.
The Lutz-Land O’ Lakes Women's Club is well-known for stepping up in the community. The overall GFWC sisterhood has been in service since 1890 and has more than a million members, the group has told Patch.com.

“We greatly appreciate the service of the Lutz-Land O’ Lakes Women’s Club and are thankful for their generous contribution, which will help save the lives of Tampa Bay area pets,” a Frankie’s Friends official said in a news release.
