Largo Patch Celebrates Two Years

Dear Largo Patch Readers,

Wow, Largo Patch turns two today! 

It is fun driving around town and discovering, with tips from the community and city, the new businesses going into town! The childhood wonderment of "What are they building on that corner?" has never gone away. Getting to talk to local business owners and learn what inspires them is . Although, it's sad when businesses close.

During the last two years we have had the privilege of covering many happy, sad, intriguing and engaging topics. Just a few of the many memorable stories include:

• American hero and fallen Largo soldier Sgt. Matt Sitton and the way the community continues to support his family.
• The tale shared on Facebook of the early morning alligator crossing in Taylor Park.
• Cheering for local people like the Largo boy who danced on the 'Today' Show.
• The tale of Sox, a dog found with a rubberband around its muzzle, with the happy ending of finding a 'furever' family in Largo.
