Man Steals Money Off Counter At Walmart, Flees Store: Police
The victim chased the man out of the store where the suspect battered him before leaving the scene in a white van.
LARGO, FL - A customer at a Largo Walmart was cashing a paycheck at the customer service area on Tuesday afternoon when an unidentified man, who was loitering behind him, grabbed the money off the counter and fled the store, police said.
The victim chased the man out of the store where the suspect battered him before leaving the scene in a white van. The suspect is described as a white male with a beard, wearing a dark colored T-shirt and green pants. The suspect was in the company of a white female who left the store prior to the robbery. The woman had blond hair and was wearing all black clothing. There were several witnesses to the battery outside the store.
The incident occurred about 4:49 p.m. inside the Walmart, 2677 Roosevelt Blvd.
