Police: Woman Stabbed Roommate with Hunting Knife
Kelly Potter, 34, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.

A Largo woman has been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder after she allegedly stabbed her roommate with a hunting knife.Â
Kelly Potter, 34, is currently awaiting trial on a $100,000 bond.Â
The Tampa Bay Times reported that Potter was in an argument with the roommate before the victim fled, "but the victim returned through a window and they resumed arguing.

Potter then retrieved a hunting knife from a bedroom, police said, and stabbed the victim in the left arm and left leg. The victim, "bleeding profusely," went across the street to get help from neighbors, police said.
According to Pinellas County Jail records, Potter has previously been arrested for various charges including: domestic battery, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, criminal mischief and possession of oxycodone.Â
